@RealGameVault PSP. Its library was more consistent. The DS wasn’t as bad as the Wii, but there was a lot of shovelware also some games on the PSP offered near-home console experience and I think that’s amazing But my favorite portable series is Etrian Odyssey on DS so let’s call it a draw

@catboyuno I think it's possible, even in 3D. They already want to give us a "trial" with the banner characters, have them be the main protagonist of their events.

if there's a new operator coming, they can afford to have that new operator interact with other characters, both npcs or soon to be playable. then we control new op, watch scenes happening in parallel, or do instances without endmin there. there's more beyond endmin's pov

this tbh 💯 in Arknights, we have many stories where Doctor isnt present which have strong plots & show operators develop, we see memorable npcs, more dynamics, worldbuilding, lore; the world feels alive i know Endfield is 3D but there's room to innovate & follow AK's footsteps

@catboyuno Actually, I got to a point where Endfield tried to do this. Spoilers btw: At some point in Wuling city, the perspective shifts to Tangtang, we even see her speak with "Darkmask" on the phone. It's surface-level compared to Arknights, but I hope they find a way to expand on this

@catboyuno Arknights loves to do that everywhere, even the main story! The Victorian arc, despite its problems, follows 3 perspectives with their own conflict and plans. Even the recent Priestess arc follows 2 or 3 perspectives.
