What an inspiring day with Uganda’s young animators! During the Kiroho UNDP: Monetising Animation townhall, I had the pleasure of engaging with young talented animators, hearing their journeys throughout the programme, and celebrating their incredible work. 💻🚀

I also had the chance to step into the animation world and try my hand at designing something myself! 💻 It was inspiring to see firsthand the creativity, dedication, and fresh ideas animators bring, reminding me just how much potential fuels Uganda’s animation ecosystem. ✨

The 𝐊𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐡𝐨 𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐏: 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 programme brought together young animators for a townhall session with @NwanneObahor, where they shared their work, reflected on lessons learned & received guidance to advance their animation careers. 💻🚀 #SDG8

@NwanneObahor engaged personally with each group, offering constructive feedback, encouragement, and practical guidance to help the young animators seize opportunities and grow their careers in animation. 💻🎨 #SDG8

The animators shared their creative journeys with @NwanneObahor, highlighting their growth, new skills and the confidence they’ve gained along the way. They also shared ideas for future initiatives that can strengthen Uganda’s animation ecosystem. 🖥️ #SDG8

At today’s 𝐊𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐡𝐨 𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐏: 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 session, animators are learning more than technical skills. They are also gaining knowledge on workplace ethics, and the prevention of sexual exploitation & harassment from the @UNDPUganda team. #SDG8
