Labour promised to build 1.5 million & are failing miserably. Everyone who knows anything about building said it was pure fantasy & they're right.

Say you’re a large firm, you’ve likely scaled that and have supply chains able to bring that down to 100k.
Now look at typical house prices in different areas. Some go up to 500k

Dense mixed use areas with good materials would give people the means to create an economy by keeping more of their to spend or use creatively as they please.

It would be very feasible for the government to build these houses and hold onto them, renting them for cheap.
