My sales girl mistakenly sent 600k to someone. We called and called, the number wasn't going. I went to the local government for a court order, they said I'd have to pay 10% first, then after I received the money, I'll settle them. I asked what's the guarantee that I would get the money back, they said none. I wanted to pay them but their arrogance ignited my arrogance and my ego felt insulted. I decided to do it the next day. That night, I removed the sim from my pos to sub it,messages started pouring in. It turned out the guy saw the money and has been trying to call me too but the sim was inside pos so it wasn't connecting. I called him back immediately. He asked few questions and sent the whole money back. Their papa for local government.

Abuja is gradually becoming something else. Last night, my brother was attacked in Wuse 2, around Polaminus Restaurant, near the junction before Wuse Market. He was simply walking along the roadside, looking for a ride, when some boys ambushed him, stabbed him in three different places, and robbed him of his iPhone and other belongings. What is even more disturbing is that there were people around, yet no one came to his aid while the attack was happening. We thank Allah that he survived, but this is a serious wake-up call for everyone. Please be extra careful, especially when moving around at night. May Allah continue to protect us all.

I have this neighbor that doesn’t greet Him,his wife and his wife sister that lives with them,they never greets And if you greet them,they hardly respond So I stopped greeting any of them too and everyone lives their life quietly We’ve been living together in this compound for about two years now Now,my landlady informed me that the wife gave birth few days ago I saw the husband that same day and he didn’t greet nor tell me anything I have seen him a couple of times afterwards too but I haven’t seen the wife around yet Now,my question is should I keep doing my thing and not greet him about the new baby and if they do naming in the compound next week,do I attend or ignore like I don’t know what’s happening

That is why reality often delivers a rude mathematical lesson. If a graduate earns N100,000 monthly, that is N1.2 million annually. A skilled technician charging N40,000 per job and handling just two jobs weekly earns over N4 million yearly. Same country. Different skills. Different outcomes. The tragedy is not that one earns more than the other. The tragedy is that we keep preparing millions of young people for a race that no longer exists. We celebrate admission lists like victory trophies. We celebrate graduation photos like guaranteed employment letters. Then we act surprised when hundreds of applicants compete for one vacancy. Imagine 1,000 people chasing 10 jobs. Basic mathematics says 990 people will be disappointed. No motivational speaker can negotiate with arithmetic. Yet we continue producing graduates faster than we produce opportunities. That is like manufacturing keys without building doors. The painful irony?
