The dumbest Trump worshipper you know will call you “Soros funded” the second you disagree with Trump. But they can’t even figure out Trump hired a Soros protogè to run the Treasury who donated to Obama and Hillary.

Check this post out. Just another lesson on how people are manipulated. Diamonds are a girl’s best friend? I say, knowledge is power.
Anish Moonka@anishmoonka

The diamond engagement ring was invented by an ad agency in 1947. Before that, only 1 in 10 American brides got one. The company behind it, De Beers, was worth $9.2 billion three years ago. Today that number is $2.3 billion, and its owner is trying to find a buyer. In 1940, diamonds were a luxury for the rich. Nobody proposed with one unless they had serious money. De Beers had a warehouse full of diamonds and no customers, so they hired NW Ayer, an ad firm out of Philadelphia. A copywriter named Frances Gerety came up with four words: “A Diamond is Forever.” NW Ayer paid Hollywood studios to write diamond proposals into movie scripts. They planted stories in gossip columns about which rock some actress just got. They invented the “two months’ salary” rule, the idea that a man should spend two months of income on a ring. None of that existed before. It was all marketing. By the 1990s, 8 out of 10 American brides wore diamond engagement rings. Then De Beers did it again in Japan, going from 5% to 60% in 14 years. Advertising Age called it the greatest advertising slogan of the 20th century. They were right. The whole business ran on one trick: make diamonds seem rare. De Beers controlled most of the world’s supply but only released a small amount each year. That artificial shortage kept prices sky-high. And the “forever” in the slogan had a second job: if nobody resells their diamond, supply stays tight and prices stay up. Lab-grown diamonds blew that apart. You can now grow a diamond in a lab that is the same thing, atom for atom, as one pulled out of the ground. Costs 80–85% less. In 2019, only 6% of engagement rings in America had a lab-grown stone. By 2025, that number was 61%. That’s from The Knot’s annual survey of 10,000+ newlywed couples. People are buying bigger rings (1.9 carats on average, compared to 1.6 for mined) and keeping the savings. De Beers saw this coming. In 2018, they launched their own lab-grown jewelry brand called Lightbox, priced at $800 per carat. The idea was to make lab-grown look like cheap costume jewelry so people would still pay a premium for “real” diamonds. Prices tanked 90% anyway. By 2025, American grocery stores were selling lab-grown diamond rings for $200. De Beers shut Lightbox down last May. Since 2023, De Beers has lost nearly $7 billion in value. It lost over $500 million in 2025 alone and has about $2 billion in diamonds sitting in storage that nobody is buying. Its parent company, Anglo American, is now in what they’re calling “advanced discussions” to sell off the whole thing. A 137-year-old company, dumped. The greatest ad campaign ever made convinced a planet that a common carbon crystal was worth two months of your salary. The product that’s killing it just proved you can grow the same crystal in a factory for pocket change.

Just talked to @POTUS and told him that he exceeded every expectation I had for this speech. He gave the American people a clear and coherent pathway forward. Most importantly, he gave a compelling explanation as to why we had to act against this evil regime. That was the best speech I could’ve hoped for. ✅ Defined the threat our country and the world was facing from a nuclear-capable Iran. ✅ Explained in clear terms the necessity for action because the regime was weeks away from producing enough weapons grade material to make up to 10 bombs. ✅ Informed America and the world we are 2-3 weeks from reaching our military objectives, which is the destruction of Iran’s missile and nuclear weapon programs. To me, the most compelling and biggest takeaway of all was that he informed the Iranian regime that if we don’t have a real, diplomatic deal to prevent the Iranian regime from going back to their old ways, President Trump will use military force to destroy the regime’s economy to guarantee they will never go back to their old ways. Midnight Hammer and Epic Fury are examples of what the greatest military in the world can achieve when the commander in chief trusts them and will let them win. The winning combination is not only a great military but also a great commander in chief. We have that in President Trump.

I actually vehemently disagree with what @MikeTyson said here. And it sounds like he might be depressed (if I may pull out my “armchair psychiatrist” card). What legacy we leave on this earth is fundamentally important. Not for our ego, but for the reverberations we make throughout this world after we leave it. If there is no concern for that legacy, there are no restrictions or spiritual guidelines for how we behave while alive. When we die, no one knows what happens to the consciousness of the individual. That is up for speculation. Perhaps it is eternal nothingness. What is not up for speculation, however, is the impact that individual leaves on this earth, and those who continue living. Like a campground, you want to leave this earth better than it was when you came in. even if you never get to visit that campground again. You want to leave a positive influence on those you touched. That is “legacy”. The irony is that I think Mike Tyson will have left a positive legacy. Despite all the hardships he went through, and caused in his younger life, he resurrected himself as a positive influence. It kind of made me sad to listen to this, actually. But I have been in a bad mood this morning, so perhaps it’s just me. Off for a jog. And will get back to trying to make a positive impact and ripple throughout this floating rock in an infinite cosmos that one day will collapse back into the point of singularity from which it all came.

This is such an autism moment. It's beautiful lmao. Tyson just says factually what he feels and the kid is like "Umm...thank you." LMAO 😂😂😂

@LegendaryEnergy Very low energy. He was reading entirely off the teleprompter, which, not being his style, made him look weak. I fail to see what this speech was supposed to do.

Listening to Trump’s address. He’s just telling the same lies in loop that he always tells. He’s not honest, intelligent, sophisticated or impressive in any way anymore. He’s like a circus clown who has the same five slogans.

Watching the president speak. My impression is, if I may use one of Trump's favorite bashes, is that he appears very low energy. It also looks like he's relying heavily on the teleprompter, judging from his cadence & the way he's squinting his eyes. So far, he's not grabbing me.
