@KelseyTuoc @Sturgeons_Law What does "Universal Health Care" mean? Everyone in America can afford aspirin. Giving everyone in the US the best possible health care would cost more than the total income of the US. Where between those do you draw the line for "Universal"?

@Sturgeons_Law We didn't become the most ambitious and revolutionary political philosophy in the world by kidding ourselves over whether doing so would be hard. hard problems can and should be solved - I want universal health care! But declaring they're easy doesn't advance the solution.

Liberalism was once the most ambitious & revolutionary political philosophy in the world. Now some of its loudest defenders frame even reform based on existing systems as a "hard problem" & defend the status quo (incl elites) by accusing others of being violent revolutionaries.

That murdering CEOs does not in the slightest make healthcare better in any way, that it obviously wouldn't do that, that healthcare is actually a hard problem and very few people involved are just letting people die for fun, doesn't feature in his worldview anywhere.

We should ban partisan gerrymandering nationwide. It's bad for our country. Republicans control Congress and should introduce the bill. Democrats will support it.
