DAU analysed a video that apparently shows Gen. Anil Chauhan making a statement about India losing seven jets to Pakistan and asking for a ceasefire. Our analysis+expert input established that A.I.-generated audio clip was used to manipulate the video. #opsindoor

Our partners at @DeFakeProject noted that the clarity of the audio is unrealistic for a public address. They added that the video has visual artefacts typical of generated videos and was probably generated from a screenshot of the original video.
