Delaware Express Trains
@DelExpressTrain
Delaware needs high-speed express trains to Philly. Claymont-Penn Medicine in 15mins | Wilmington-30th St in 30 mins | Newark-Suburban Station in 45mins

After 20 years of planning and six years of construction, a reimagined Ardmore train station is back open. cbsnews.com/philadelphia/n…

Gotta love that s-curve in the Northeast Corridor going through Wilmington, Delaware. Wouldn't have Acela service without it because there's basically zero time saved bypassing the station. In fact, all the trains stop here. We get 30+ Amtrak trains daily in each direction.

when the Acela skips Metropark

This is incredible- not only opposing 95 expansion, but calling for it to be REMOVED or BURIED, moving the PennDOT office TO Philly, *and* calling for future projects to PROVE they won't increase greenhouse gasses and VMT.

Today we have US transit data for all of 2025, & DC's WMATA was officially the fastest-growing major US agency, with ridership up 8.7%! The LIRR (NY, 6.4%), King County Metro (Seattle, +6.5%) & SEPTA (Philly, +4.7%) performed well, while LA Metro & NJTransit lost riders🧵

@SummerSalts Newark (EWR), Philly (PHL), and Baltimore (BWI) all have train access, and Amtrak can be taken from each down to DC (philly needs 1 transfer at 30th tho)

THE UNBRIDLED GREATNESS OF TRAINS WILL ENDURE FOR A MILLION YEARS

Line 5 Eglinton ripping past rush hour traffic in North York. Dedicated transit lanes, whether it is on an LRT, bus, or streetcar provide travel time consistency that makes people want to take transit. #Toronto
