When India vs New Zealand was going on, I decided to pop the hood of Hotstar and see how they are exactly streaming to 65M+ concurrent viewers via HLS. Turns out they use Akamai + AWS CDN for delivery, and a lot of subdomains (some tied with even ISPs like airtel?) Video out!
