Is this story gentrification or should redevelopment be welcomed? Historic businesses in Woolwich say they fear their community is being displaced and their businesses are under threat. The council says the new development will bring new homes. Here's my @itvlondon report

@TheMurkyDepths Been there to photograph a few times myself. People are now illegally dumping rubble and goodness knows what else which visit adding to the chaos. Like you, I'm so shocked that its been left in this state. Should have been cleared and secured responsibly.

Rarely left gobsmacked but today was something else. I was contacted to see estate in Woolwich. Everyone evicted and left to rot for some time. This is all open to public. Royal Borough...

@DrLuPlatt I'm doing my manifesto for public space at the mo too...there's so much to say...and putting everything into a few key themes to keep it pithy. It's really tough!
