🏡Urgent Appeal - Pippa Needs A Permanent Foster Home In #Pembrokeshire #Wales 🏡 Some of you may have already read Pippa’s story (see post below if you haven't👇). We’re so relieved to share that her surgery was a success, she is now back with us, resting & beginning her recovery 💔To recap, Pippa came to us as an unclaimed stray. She was found by a member of the public. Sadly, no one came forward to claim her. With no identification & nowhere to go, she entered our care once her stray period ended💔 🏥At first, it was believed she had a mammary infection & she was treated with antibiotics. However, her condition worsened. Further investigation revealed something far more serious — Pippa had a hernia, a large hole in her muscle wall that was allowing her internal organs to push through. She was rushed into surgery, where our vets performed life-saving treatment. While she was under anaesthetic, she was also neutered We also discovered that Pippa has mammary tumours. Due to the length & intensity of her surgery, this couldn’t be addressed at the same time. This is something we will be dealing with as soon as she is strong enough.
