tbf one thing is that they wouldn’t be gassed if they had garland. they’d be in cancun and chilling for the last 3 weeks after losing to the raptors in 5 or 6

FD picked a bad molehill to make into a mountain. It's been almost 3 years and people are fucking sick of having to center the whole conversation on "antisemitism" or playing PC word games while Israel is killing 10s of thousands and putting people into concentration rape camps.
Root_Cosmo@root0cosmo

not even joking there are already videos going up about this because BE sees it as a monetizable venture and his orbiters see it too.

@LakeEffectBro Also he was dog shit against the Pistons. Let’s not pretend he was good. He turned the ball over a lot, completely shit the bed in game 7 and the game he scored 30, he shot 38%. It’s weird how Harden was part of the advanced analytics revolution but y’all can’t tell he sucks

the problem with having a meme player like Harden whom everyone hates is that you’ll never hear about him averaging 20/6/5 in the first two rounds because of how it all ended. they lose in the first round without him most likely

@HPbasketball In the reg season post-trade Harden’s usage was perfect and he wasn’t monopolizing ball. So much of the playoffs it turned into James, bail us out. The amount of grenade threes and turnovers with clock expiring had nothing to do with his iso hunting

As someone who has watched every Cavs game for years, I think calling Donovan a terrific playmaker is quite the exaggeration. His interior passing specifically leaves a lot to be desired. His AST:USG has gone down in the playoffs each of the past 3 seasons. Think he’s a very predictable and therefore scoutable player whose impact can be muted by gameplanning more than other superstars. I do think that integrating Harden mid season limited how creative the offense could be. But I think that also applies to any major mid season star trade

@HPbasketball How does ur stupid fucking ass find new ways to show ur stupidity and lack of basketball knowledge time and time again, and to think ur supposed to be one of the “smarter” media members or whatever tf, ur job is to watch basketball and u don’t even do that

This is considered a Donovan problem, and to me it's absolutely a consdquence of having to play Harden ball because he can not and will not play any other way. Donovan I think is a terrific playmaker, and he shifted into more off-ball tip of the spear because they went to Harden ISO hunting. Harden has to become more of an off-ball guy. Mitchell is the engine, and injured or not, removing him from that limits his impact
Mike Zavagno@MZavagno11

Harden had 10.3 potential assists per game, Mobley had 5.5. On near equivalent usage (Harden 23.7%, Mobley 22.4%). Think your MUCH larger issue is Donovan at 8 potential, 2.3 actual per game with 31.3% usage. Puts Donovan at 0.45 AST/USG which is in the 0th percentile

Donovan Mitchell says James Harden’s greatness is in the same conversation as Stephen Curry, Allen Iverson, and Michael Jordan “This man changed the game of basketball. Changed the game of basketball in ways we have never seen before. We live in such a ring-dominant culture that we were willing to write a guy off, a guy that has transcended basketball. Seventy-five years, no one has done what he does. You can say the same about Steph Curry, [Allen] Iverson, [Michael] Jordan. James Harden is in there. So yeah, I can relate to not reaching a certain point. I also feel like we also don’t talk about [Harden’s] greatness enough.” (Via andscape.com/features/james…)

@RavensRuinedMe Plays with multiple injuries throughout his career even at age 37, makes zero excuses, gets zero grace. Yet we still hear from the media and drones that Curcucksrael was injured in 19 even though he himself admitted he was fine. Just an unfair world and we gotta make peace wit it

ECF final numbers: Evan Mobley - 12 assists, 6 3s James Harden - 12 assists, 5 3s I know some of Harden’s low assist totals was guys missing open shots but yeah, that’s probably not a recipe for success
