Fifth grade scholars at @ewstokespcs recently traveled to Martinique and Panama! They toured sights like the Panamanian Presidential Palace and La Savane des Esclaves museum and viewed the diverse flora and fauna. Check out some of their highlights!

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sgt. Jin Park, an 11-year veteran with MPD, who was involved in a fatal motorcycle accident while heading home after his shift this morning. Our heartfelt sympathies are with his family & friends during this difficult time.

Scholars recently learned more about their favorite reads directly from their authors! @goodwillexceldc hosted Zee Clarke, who penned "Black People Breathe: A Mindfulness Guide to Racial Healing," and PK classes @EWStokesPCS heard Lesley Younge read her new book, "A-Train Allen!"

Kindness starts with the simplest actions ❤️ @EWStokesPCS' Brookland campus student government recently hosted a supplies drive with @PathwaysDC, packing toiletry go-bags to help homeless neighbors in the city! #NationalVolunteerMonth

PK classes at East End welcomed author Lesley Younge as she read her new book, “A-Train Allen”. Scholars imagined zooming through the city to a very special destination! Look for “A-Train Allen” and Ms. Younge’s other new book, “Nearer My Freedom” out now!

Students will pack a second round of bags after the final supplies collection, with further support from monetary donations from the community. THANK YOU to all who helped the Brookland Student Government realize their mission to care for our community!

During the month of March, the Brookland Campus Student Government conducted a supplies drive benefitting via Pathways to Housing. Last week, they packed about 50 go-bags of toiletries and other items for unhoused neighbors in our community.

✅ The first day of school is August 28 for K-5th grade and August 29 for Pre-K. We will hold registration for returning students in the month of May.

✅ You will receive an email from the school on or before April 3 with instructions on how to complete registration ✅ We will have in-person registration support on campus on Saturday, April 29 from 10am-12pm. ✅ The deadline to complete registration is April 30.

MySchoolDC lottery results come out on Friday, March 31! We can’t wait to meet all of our new Stokes families. Here are a few dates to keep in mind:
