Ed from Ukraine
@EdFromUkraine
I'm Ukrainian. I explore the intersection of technology, history, and the lived experience of this conflict through the lens of those who are shaping it.

I have congratulated President Trump @POTUS and all Americans on the Independence Day. We’ve had a very good phone call. We are grateful to the United States for all the assistance we have received – from Javelins and Patriots to political support – and we deeply value that America stands by us in defending our independence. I am grateful to every American heart that cares about the future of Ukraine, Europe, and everyone around the world for whom freedom matters. Of course, President Trump and I discussed the current situation on the frontline as well as our diplomatic efforts. There is a real prospect to put an end to this war, and America’s resolve is decisive. We have agreed to continue these discussions during the NATO Summit in Ankara. Thank you, the United States! Thank you, Mr. President! Happy Fourth of July! Wishing Americans continued prosperity and every success.

Ukrainian-made guided bombs launched from a MiG-29 striking Russian frontline positions.

"What do you call Crimea? I call it a part of Russian territory, bitch. That's what I call Crimea. I call it cry me a river. A Russian river."

A short timelapse of people across Denver thanking Hasan for inspiring them to get more politically involved and helping Melat Kiros's campaign. A reminder that Twitter isn't real life. We will continue to carry the flame 🌹

Chief designer Fire Point @DenShtilierman moved fuel tanks FP-2 drones from the fuselage to the wings. This significantly increased warhead weight. Max version: 200 kg (440 lb) warhead with 370 km (230 miles) range. Essentially a precision replacement for 500 lb bombs.

Strike on NIIFI factory in Penza today — key Roscosmos defense plant. Produces sensors for Kh-101, Bulava, Iskander missiles, Su-34/Su-57 aircraft & military systems.Important part of Russia’s war industry. Judging by the sound — this was a cruise missile.

@ChrisO_wiki It sounds crazy now, but given the naval drones Ukraine already fields, drone carrier strike groups may be the next logical step. Incidentally, a Ukrainian defense outlet reported that a naval drone capable of deploying an unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) is also under development.

Ok. What we know: The air raid alarm came in the Bryansk area, RU 🇷🇺, 23 Minutes before the alarm in the Moscow area, RU 🇷🇺. Impact or shot down after — my guess: UA 🇺🇦 made a test of something new, and I have an idea what that could be…🤫😎 Tip: 🚀too fast for FP-5 Flamingo🦩
