I couldn’t disagree more.
A core tenet of the Right used to be that we don’t get told who we’re allowed to have opinions about. And I DEFINITELY wouldn’t put mocking Islam in some untouchable category.

None of that has anything to do with ad hominem. I recommend you use that where it belongs, not just every time someone challenges you. It doesn’t make you seem intelligent if you use it incorrectly. The opposite in fact.
