Got some awful awful news from the UH ohana last night. I always admired Jasper, a really wonderful human. If everyone could send a little extra care and love to this broken world today, it would mean a lot.

I have alternated between weeping and rage too many times to count today. I don't even want to send my son to daycare tomorrow, I just want to squish him in my arms all day. What the FUCK is wrong with this country. My heart aches for the families of Uvalde.

@EricRSammons It irks me that it's only the "physical reason" taken into account, by this MAN who knows best. What about the huge numbers of women who are simply too exhausted or don't want to deal with the pain and constant need to feed or pump? It's often not compatible with modern life.

A mom who can’t breastfeed for physical reasons shouldn’t feel any more guilty than a blind man who can’t see. There’s no moral failing in either case. At the same time, we should all still acknowledge that God designed women to breastfeed and eyes to see.
