Many of the #CT and #VT requirements for #PoW switching are already included in standard #switchgear arrangements. We have carried out a number of #retrofit installations and these connections can easily be adapted and connected on site.

We import the various P28 issue 2 curves into #PSCAD to give a direct comparison with the #voltage dip. Here you can see the assessment of the whole site #energisation against the very infrequent #P28 limit. Resulting in a compliant result for our client.

When switching #transformers with a 3-pole #CircuitBreaker the #SynchroTeq uses a patented #residualflux algorithm. As the algorithm calculates each time there is no need to control the opening of the CB, this can be done directly via #protection devices. buff.ly/2ZaTfkQ

Enspec have been awarded the contract to supply a 33kV shunt reactor to Beinn an Tuirc #WindFarm. This project is phase 3 of the Wind Farm and is a Scottish Power Renewables development with 14 turbines and a rated capacity of 50MW. #powersystems #reactor #windenergy #onshorewind
