The hardest part is recalibrating your mind to money. each dollar is valuable. 100 or 1000 bucks is not "nothing". Then you figure out what value exchange you can offer to accumulate real world value (see money). Find some concrete skill that you can develop to earn a normal ass living for a while. Ideally something that you become a master/expert in 5+ years and get paid as such. Crypto isn't going anywhere, just need to change your relationship with it. Treat it more like a stock.

This is my only medium of expression to voice this but I can't understate how I ruined my life with crypto and how it has enabled my addictive personality in the worst way possible. I need help genuinely, I want to move on

Its amazing how far we have fallen from original cypherpunk values. Security + immutability + decentralization were non-negotiables. Speed was actually arguably unimportant. Whole point was to eliminate the central party required to maintain the ledger. Until people remember that we got some more suffering to do.

Everyone telling you that college is a waste is only partially right. If you have a clear intention of becoming a doctor, lawyer, engineer... There is generally only ever going to be 1 pathway - and that is college. For everyone else: You are wasting your time and an average reader of books will have more working and philosophical knowledge than you with your "advanced" degree in sociology, arts, or cultural studies.

I think this is a result of the way people live today. Everything has become expensive, people work all day, stress is huge, and security almost doesn’t exist anymore. In that kind of world, a lot of people just keep delaying starting a family until the ''right time,'' and that right time often never comes. That’s why I don’t think the problem is just about people, but about the system we live in.
