Reports indicate from both Russian and Indian sources that IAF is likely to replicate the induction system as followed for SU30MKI , for induction of SU57 MKI.
Once the deal is finalized in 2026-2027 then by 2029 -30 India likely to get two Squadrons or 40x SU57 directly from Russia .
By 2032 first of the Made in India SU 57MKI ( based on SU57M1) should start entering squadron service (subsequently the 40× SU57 too will get upgraded). There may upto 9x Squadrons of these 5th Gen ++ fighters .
The recommendations given in the book NABHAH SPARSHAM DEEPTAM ,MAY THE FORCE BE WITH THE IAF, seems to be coming true .
