One of my greatest joys is hearing about the successes of my trainees. @jahnvi_j will be headed to medical school at McGovern Medical School and I couldn't be more proud--congratulations Jahnvi!!! You will go so far, and the field of medicine is lucky to have you!

Many @FANs_Lab rockstars laid the groundwork for this project, including @aguelfo21 @leyla1526 @jahnvi_j @dominiqueUGA Drew Teer among others, your hard work has been critical to making this a success!

I am super excited to start this R01 supported by NCCIH, a mechanistic clinical trial for dissociation! Partnering with @gregsiegle and Grady Trauma Project, we will test neuroscience-based interventions for dissociation, targeting attentional control and interoception networks.

Thank you! Appreciated the opportunity to discuss important research looking at the lifespan impact of racism on health in Black lives. I def agree with you that more work is needed in our field to acknowledge the importance of racism in our conceptualization of trauma and PTSD.

Just heard an amazing presentation by @DrSCarter1 at our @McLeanHospital #PTSD conference on some of the psychological, metabolic, and healthspan effects of systemic #racism . Lots of work to do to address this. onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.10…
