I didn't cite it to "prove" anything. He made a claim then that remains true today. And that claim is that Iran does not pose a nuclear threat to the U.S. Read that carefully. I did not say "Iran doesn't have a nuclear weapons program." I said it doesn't pose a nuclear threat to the U.S. And it obviously doesn't. Not only does Iran not have any nuclear weapons, but even if they did have one, they have no way to hit the U.S. with it. And even if they also had that, it would be pointless suicide for them to try to hit one or two U.S. targets only to be annihilated themselves. That would be no way to further their aims. They're not stupid. You may say that Iran still poses such a threat to Israel, or that it poses other threats to the U.S. But that is not relevant to what I actually said. Again, read it carefully before replying.

You're sharing a video from decades ago to prove that Iran doesn't have a nuclear weapons program. Youig ignore Israeli and American intelligence reports to the contrary. You ignore the Iranian's statements in the negotiations to the contrary. You have made a leap of faith. From your position, I too would support peace.

Friends (former friends) and family members questioned me when I publicly said I support Trump. One of the reasons I always gave was that he won't drag our country into war. I don't blame anyone for feeling betrayed and disgusted. Don't let anyone gaslight you. We were lied to.

It is not sufficient, but it is absolutely necessary. Otherwise you become no better than what you claim to oppose. And as Elizabeth Anscombe wrote in “War and Murder,” God will not be impressed by those who try to rationalize butchery by saying to him: “We had to break your law… We could not obey your commandments, for we did not believe your promises.”

Netanyahu: It is not enough to be moral. It is not enough to be just. "Jesus Christ has no advantage over Genghis Khan. If you are strong enough, ruthless enough, and powerful enough, evil will overcome good."

The GOP deserves to become a smoking crater. The Democrats will be no better. Elections are now just about punishing whichever gang of lunatics is holding power at the moment. This is unsustainable.
(((Harry Enten)))@ForecasterEnten

This is the most troublesome sign I've seen for Trump & the GOP. Trump's now a record low 41 pts underwater on the cost of living per Yahoo/YouGov. He's 60 pts underwater on the issue with indies!! Wave adios to the House & maybe Senate cause you can't win with these numbers.

@AugustinaJJD Wake up. The Trump administration has consistently fought to preserve access to abortion pills, which are responsible for most abortions, and Trump himself has actively opposed state level restrictions. He's transformed the GOP into a second, slightly more mildly pro-choice party

@FeserEdward 40,000 children per year are saved from murder and dismemberment by post-Roe restrictions on abortion. You think the party that endorses and funds legal mass murder of children, more so far than in all US wars combined, is equivalent to the party that stands for ending it.

This psychotic, who has quite a large following on Twitter, trashes Denmark for preparing to defend itself from threatened U.S. aggression and then being unwilling to join us in a poorly thought out war that is against its own interests. This is not a rational mind. It is no less insane than woke left-wingers who go on about trans women being women, defunding the police, and other such madness. Of course, there is nothing special about this particular fool; there are innumerably many like him. And that’s the point. An enormous part of the population, across the political spectrum, lives in unreality. This is not sustainable. We are in deep trouble.

@ChrisO_wiki LOL, they're willing to take us on but unwilling to take on Iran? I'm not sure we need those kind of "Allies".

1/ Denmark was reportedly preparing for full-scale war with the US over Greenland in January, with military support from France, Germany, and Nordic nations. Elite troops and F-35 jets with live ammunition were sent, and runways were to be blown up to prevent an invasion. ⬇️

"They" meaning individuals, sure. But not an entire country. It's one thing for individuals to accept martyrdom in the course of a long conflict, quite another for a government to allow its entire country to be destroyed for the sake of lobbing a nuke or two that will harm but not destroy the U.S. They would never do such a thing. They're not stupid.

"Iran poses no nuclear threat to the U.S." is one of those claims that absolutely enrages people precisely because it is so obviously true. It's like "The emperor has no clothes on."
The American Conservative@amconmag

Pat Buchanan knew: “Iran doesn’t frighten me and I don’t think it should frighten the American people. They don’t have a bomb, they don’t have the means to deliver one, and the Israelis have 300 atomic bombs. Who presents the existential threat to whom?”

@FeserEdward I mean, as far as "it would be suicidal for them to do so," I think their response might be "don't threaten us with a good martyrdom."

Pro-war pundits insist there's no betrayal, no switcheroo. They dig up obscure, decades-old anti-Iran statements from Trump: You fell for the “PEACE TICKET” slogans from 18 months ago? Well, sucker, you should have combed through 1980s news clippings! unherd.com/2026/03/trump-…

Gas facilities in Saudi Arabia. It’s over folks. We are heading into a major 1973-style energy crisis. There will likely be shortages and rationing. We will probably be moved to work-from-home - if you keep your job, of course. 🛢️📈

Antisemitism is morally repulsive and irrational, and so common now that it merits this condemnation. But the widespread dehumanization of the Palestinians is no less morally repulsive and irrational. And Israel’s appalling excesses in Gaza give aid and comfort to antisemitism.
U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops@USCCB

Catholics are called to reject antisemitism and the lies and conspiracies that fuel it, and to stand clearly against hatred and violence directed toward our Jewish brothers and sisters. To defend religious freedom with integrity, we must also reject antisemitism. @ArchbishpSample @archdpdx Watch the full video at: ow.ly/sYF550Yw6cA
