Bodybuilders are not strong. They do light weight at high reps for mainly hypertrophic growth. Their muscles look large and defined but that is due to large amounts of weight over long periods of time. Example: 20lbs x 20rep at 4 sets = 1600 pounds. But over 10 mins or so. They get the pump and look but not the strength. Compared a power lifter or strength trainer who lifts 60lbs x 3-4reps x 4 sets. 960lbs only but way more strength development in muscle fibers. They won’t have the definition but may have the size and for sure will have muscle fibers built for strength not looks.
