George Washington literally told his friend Edmund Randolph that if the South ever tried to divided the country over slavery, he would support the North.
He was against the very ideas of secession and regional autonomy.
He was fully supportive of the federal government and its power over state governments.
He was a Nationalist who saw himself as a citizen of the United States and believed that loyalty to country should trump loyalty to a state.
He freed his slaves in his final will after a lifetime of supporting gradual abolition.
To say that he would support the Confederacy is utter delusion. He would be more likely to personally lead Union troops into Richmond in order to hang the entire Confederate leadership.

Imagine the seethe in the Union states if Washington was around for the Civil War. The founder of the nation would have been the greatest Confederate general/president of all time. For the record, yes, Washington would have 100% been a Confederate.
