I was today years old when I learned that I had been cited in a court decision... 🤩 Best of all, it's related to YouTube and trade secrets! Back in 2017, I co-authored an article w @GeekAttorney called "The Law of YouTubers". It was published in @ABAesq 's Landslide Magazine.

It is not Fair Use to take someone else’s TikTok videos or Instagram Reels, compile them, and post the compilation on YouTube. It’s just copyright infringement and action can be taken to stop it.

Oh YouTubers, when will you realize that Fair Use disclaimers before a vid mean nothing but just prove your copyright infringement is knowing and willful. Also, not required, not even sure what that means..and someone does read it. 😉
