This current spending bill is bigger than most people realize. We need to recognize that we cannot afford everything that every special interest in Washington DC wants to spend money on. 25% of all US govt revenue is going to interest on the debt. A few more years and it will be 40%. We cannot afford foreign wars, plus paying for 20 million illegal aliens, plus funding the full wish list of every lobbyist in DC. We cannot afford 11 aircraft carrier groups plus the F-35 plus paying for apartment subsidies for 20 million fake refugees. There are limits to our ability to pay for this stuff. Just because Congress puts it on a piece of paper doesn't make it true.
