@GenghisConnThr3 8 years between 64 and this, shameful wait for an overall mid sequel. On-foot segments routinely forgiven by Nintendo fans that never played a shooter in their lives. Conceptually great, execution was not. Most missions go way too long. Fox was also not very likable in this one.

Star Fox peaked with "Assault" and no one can change my mind. The designs, the characters, the dynamic, the music...it was all fantastic. I know this because, starting with the very next game, it would be all downhill from there.

@BOENSAW The problem with SF after 64 is that they do a buncha cool ideas really badly that they never do it again proper. As if the lesson of Starfox Assault was "Let's NEVER make Fox on foot again" and not "Lets make a third-person shooter with controls that DON'T feel like dogshit"

I'd allow a Sly 1 remake but only on the grounds that Carmelita goes up a cup size and they bounce and also this fix her fucked up ass face from sly 4 but also they put a disclaimer at the beginning of the game that says "Being attracted to Carmelita does not make you a furry"

It’s so weird whenever I see people blame these guys for the SW prequel hatred cause I was a kid when those movies came out and I remember older SW fans and various nerd-related media were very vocal about their hatred for those movies
