We still have scholarships available and we want to see them used! Priority goes to historically underrepresented people, but anyone is welcome to apply. Tell your friends, and don’t be shy to apply yourself at goplaynw.org/scholarship!

Scheduled game sign-ups are open now at goplaynw.org/events and you can still submit a game to the schedule at goplaynw.org/run-an-event—but both will close next Friday July 19! (You’ll still be able to join any open scheduled games at the event, though!)

Go Play NW 2024 starts TWO WEEKS AWAY—Friday July 26! Now’s the time to sign up for scheduled games or post your own to the schedule! And we still have scholarships available if you need help to attend! More details in the next two tweets… #goplaynw

Lastly, we’ll be asking for proof of recent COVID-19 vaccination OR proof of a negative test. We'll have a limited number of tests available at the convention, but the easiest way to get in is to show your vaccine card or online record. More info: goplaynw.org/covid-19/

Dear @GoPlayNW, Why do I have to register for your site just to see how much tickets are? That's basic information.

This was an excellent question! And the answer is, it was overlooked in our gradual process of updating our website. Ticket prices are now visible on the main event page goplaynw.org/seattle/ as well as on the registration page goplaynw.org/register/ *without* signing in!

@mockman Understandable! For this online event we left out scheduled games to simplify our work, but we'll definitely bring that back! Honestly we'd like to see more scheduled games both in-person and online, but for some reason fewer people post or sign up for them.

@GoPlayNW I kind of wish y'all weren't so invested in the Donut thing! It takes a bit more courage to cold-pitch a game to strangers, like at an open gaming night at a game store, rather than putting it out there for signups in advance, like at a typical convention.
