@GolferRandom @MrKennethClarke Corbyn was the saboteur 40% of 2017 Tory voters backed Remain. Labour was the natural bulwark. And gammons will always vote for bigotry etc - there is no point really trying to please them if you are Labour. But you can confront them. Labour couldn't even confront Corbyn

Brexit is one of the biggest contributors to the cost of living crisis. Labour would do well to start talking about it by holding Farage and Reform to account. Silence on the issue isn’t working.

@JB11XI @TRobinsonNewEra Scum. Are you talking about human beings? Can I ask, does being racist,Xenophobic and I imagine Islamophobic bring you any joy, or does it just make you angry all th time?

@UpTheWorkers @RichardBurgon @RosBumblebee Don’t see much sense in these hand wringing posts. All Labour can do is your no2 and hope it’s enough. Sadly I think the gammon wall frenzy about immigration means that lives could be better than ever in 2029 but there will be mindlessly chafing ‘stop the boats’ regardless

@RichardBurgon @RosBumblebee 1. Labour don't have a credible replacement in the wings 2. I'd get on with moving forward and helping ordinary people as opposed to wringing my hands 3. If Labour do some good stuff over the next couple of years then Starmer might just be the one to take on Reform ...no?

These results make one thing clear: Keir Starmer has fought his last election as Labour leader. We now need a timetable for an orderly transition to a new leader by the end of this year. This could not be more serious. It's about stopping Farage entering No.10 My new article👇

@RichardBurgon @AdamConlon15 Farage is popular because he speaks for the majority. Labour ignored everything they promised, hopefully they’ll get obliterated at the next election.

@SandraDunn1955 @RichardBurgon Why would a media run by a load of billionaire non doms want to enhance the profile of a Ltd company that is run by a former city broker who want to keep the rich rich while scapegoating minorities? It’s odd. Just can’t fathom it.

@mostlyfarming @RichardBurgon I don’t think anyone calls Labour socialist. What in the last year or so has made people so angry about Labour? The country was a shit show after Spaffer the lettuce and Sunak. It wasn’t going to be put right in a week

everyone certainly hates the Labour "mandate" and the changes you're making...it's almost rubbing salt in with the posts abotu taking responsibility...like wtf? and the fact you tried to cancel these elections. It's fairly simple, slightly intelligent people know deep down that socialism doesnt work, has never worked, and never will. Kier is off the scale left. Blair was fairly central but poisoned things from within so wasn't noticed.

@peanut_astro @RichardBurgon @Nigel_Farage If you care about Britain you would want to stop fuhrage. The man who admires Putin. Who repeatedly failed to turn up to speak up to British interests in Brussels. Who doesn’t give a shit about Clacton. Not to mention the grifts an his affinity to the paedo president.

@RichardBurgon Starmer needs to resign, see the King and call a General Election. The UK needs to lance the Labour boil and be pain free.

@JonathanWiltsh7 @RichardBurgon @Keir_Starmer How do you stand up to the far right when polls say the country lurches ever rightwards? What we call centrist now is right wing a generation ago. People scream Labour are communist. Others scream they’re Tories. Britain gets ever more divided. Who wins? Extremists.

Well said, Richard. To be fair, all @Keir_Starmer has had to do over the past two years to prevent this is act like the leader of a left-wing party. Instead, he’s repeatedly bowed to Trumpism and pressure from the right, while refusing to clearly call out Israel’s blatant war crimes. Stand up to Trump. Stand up to Netanyahu. Call out the obvious danger posed by the far right. Do those three things, and we might still avoid a Reform government. But if he can’t do it, then someone else needs to step up. Now.
