@ColeJacksonFB Half of EDC’s job is to interpret player value and get deals done. He undervalued Linderbaum, overvalued Crosby and Hendrickson, got roasted for it then hit the only button that gave him a redo. Our best path forward is Hendrickson and a draft pick, but it’s a cowardly approach.

I’m just confused by what this big master plan was for the Ravens that they went through this to execute? In no way does reneging on this deal benefit the team lol Even if they sign Trey Hendrickson… he was a UFA? They soiled their reputation to sign a UFA? Like what?

@itsahooded4iron Who cares if it is announced or not. They still staked their whole offseason on a player with an injury that was widely talked about. It would just be more confusing why the Ravens let everyone walk, but we’d still be in the same boat.

Bad situation in Baltimore. A lot of the blame goes to the process and the wonky, weird way the NFL does free agency. No deal should EVER be announced until the physicals are done and everything's signed. Now you have the Raiders unable to pay Crosby... (cont., 1/2)

I’m officially out on EDC, gave him the benefit of the doubt and he goes into free agency with a fake trade that sets the Ravens back the entire offseason. He is part of the problem.

Other NFL GMs have a lot of questions after the Ravens backed out of the Maxx Crosby trade because of what they told the Raiders were medical concerns. @nflnetwork

Fire DeCosta. He knew he was trading for an injured player and this was a possibility. He let free agents walk away because he had confidence in this. Don’t make a deal for an injured dude at the open of free agency unless you are all in.
