2) We show that NSD1 both has catalytic dependent and independent roles in regulating transcription, that NSD1/H3K36me2 are enriched at enhancers, that NSD1 promotes enhancer activity and RNA Pol II pause release.

@HelinLab Cool paper! Congrats! You might be interested in a similar effect we saw at a tandem gene array: recruitment of KDM5B led to loss of H3K4me2/3. This led to a loss in H3K27ac and reduced promoter escape (less Pol II Ser2ph compared to Ser5ph). See nature.com/articles/natur…
