Today, May 7th 2024 @IntGAN alongside @NARwanda held a Capacity building on Community psychosocial healing & Family conflicts resolution skills for sustainable peace & Inclusive Governance among grassroots leaders, IZU, Abunzi, @RwandaWomen @RwandaYouth in @MusanzeDistrict

President Paul Kagame and First Lady Jeannette Kagame have lit the flame of remembrance at the @Kigali_Memorial. The flame will burn for the next 100 days for the 30th commemoration of the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi. #Kwibuka30

Every year on April 7th, Rwandans and the global community unite to commemorate the lives of over a million innocent souls lost in just 100 days during the tragic 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi. #Kwibuka30

On Sunday, we honour the 1 million people who perished in the genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda, and reflect on the suffering of those who survived. This day serves as a tragic reminder of the need to #StandUp4HumanRights -- always. un.org/en/preventgeno… #Kwibuka

This morning at the Kigali Genocide Memorial, President Kagame and First Lady Jeannette Kagame, alongside visiting Heads of State and Government, will lay wreaths and light the Flame of Remembrance in honor of over one million lives lost during the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi. Today, @IntGAN under the support of @NARwanda has concluded a 2 day capacity strengthening on Citizens' engagement in  Gender Budget statement analysis, annex to Budget Framework Paper between local authorities, elected councilors, opinion leaders and CSO’s in @MusanzeDistrict

Last evening, PBI participants visited the Campaign against Genocide Museum to learn about the efforts of Rwanda's liberation struggle & the bravery of the men & women who stopped the genocide & brought Rwanda from the ashes to a country that has more lessons to teach the world.
