It's not my place to tell Black folks what they should or shouldn't be offended by, or whether such offenses can be forgiven based on the youth of the offender.
However, one element that translates beyond her youth here, and which renders the counter-critique about her youth questionable, is that it draws a straight line in her thinking between her youth and her more recent past.
The thing is, she *didn't* outgrow here earlier support for terrorism and the slaughter of Jews; rather, it appears to have hardened over time.
What this says about her anti-Black utterances, and whether they translated into contemporary anti-Black attitudes, I can't say. But I can tell you that it appears that that Ms. Duwaji has been simmering in a stew of genocidal Jew-hate for a very long time.
We have no reason to think she ever changed.
