Hundreds of resident Doctor colleagues are going to be unemployed this month. This is a catastrophic failure of workforce planning by UK Govts & many senior clinicians who have had a role/ influence in workforce planning. As a profession - we should all be throughly ashamed.

I just finished a Med reg on call shift. My FY1 colleague, by the time I got there, had already delivered life saving treatment at 8pm a sunday. Don't ever try and tell me that my FY1 colleague is worth £16 an hour. Don't ever tell me they're not worth £22/hr. Strike hard.

Bring back the family Doctor We all want this as we know instinctively that seeing the same person or group of people is key to managing health better Yet with funding cuts there are fewer GPs available, making it harder for patients & GPs to provide the continuity of care needed

Took on a 60 strong majors chairs, 30 waiting to be seen, 7 hour wait, over-full SDEC, constant flow of ambulances throughout the night. Handing back 7 in majors chairs with nobody waiting to be seen. I’ve never been more proud of a night A&E team 🥰
