This week we were invited to attend the Youth Insearch leadership graduation ceremony at Admiralty House in Sydney. Joblink Plus is a long-time supporter of Youth Insearch and we were honoured to be included in this celebration of the achievements of a new group of leaders.

Joblink Plus' position is that people struggling with dependence - be it illicit drugs, alcohol, gambling or something else - will be more able to participate in the labour market, recover and find purpose when they are supported, not punished.

Essential to a harm minimisation, health and support-based approach is adequate funding of social services, education and job creation.

As a trauma informed organisation Joblink Plus welcomes news from the ACT that further decriminalisation of illicit drugs is underway. The evidence is clear and compelling: many people with addictions have a history of trauma which impacts their capacity t abc.net.au/news/2022-08-2…
