I never used to want England to do well. Quite the opposite. I used to enjoy the banter of watching the big team fail. Then it changed. The Scottish media and, especially in politics, the indoctrination of our kids really ramped up. It went way beyond banter. Slogans like “ABE” are as bigoted as they come, and plenty of folk still can’t see it. Anyway, we’re all British. And whether you like it or not, you’re a UK citizen. Until you renounce that citizenship or emigrate, that’s how you’ll die. Sun’s out, factor 30’s on, and I’m heading to a bar showing the game. I’ll say it now, England are going to win the World Cup 😂

Tipping culture is very easy. If you go into a place that has a hostess, you sit down at a table and get waited on…you tip 20% if the service was acceptable. Less if the waiter sucks. If you go into a bar you tip your bartender generally a dollar a drink. Every other instance of tipping like at Starbucks or chicken joints like Foosackleys you press “no tip” with a smile on your face.
