What I'm most excited about❗
Childers is the obvious one. But do not sleep on Grayson Jenkins new album (another Kentuckian). I will also be checking out the singles from Charlie Bishop, Zach Russell, The Droptines, Brayden Mullins, Magnolia Boulevard and The Jack Wharff Band.
What did I miss❓
I always miss something. Let's build a mega thread of drops. Let me know in the threads. 👇

Don't miss a drop ➕
I do this every Friday (unless I randomly deactivate my account for 3 weeks 😂). Music is usually independent artists in the folk, indie rock, bluegrass and country genres. Press the foller button to find new music weekly👉 @bradluttrell
Share the love ♻️
If you enjoyed something on the list, share it. That's how people discover new music in 2025.
LOL the variety here is comical. Just try to get a feel for me by looking at my titles:
Man who is into beach music but also wanted to build a SaaS company but apparently switched to a consulting mindset but also likes really dark murder tales and world war II and vietnam nonfiction. Oh, and looks like he was trying to coach some kids.
I don't know if any of my followers would care, but I read (listened to) 24 books last year. I'm going to share my favorites on LI.
Anyone here into books?
I listened to more than 10K songs in 2024, and curated it down to just a few hundred gems in a single playlist.
The 2025 playlist has officially been created. 👀 See below to follow on Spotify.
Guitar friends & Telecaster enthusiasts, I need your help. 🎸
I've always wanted a Telecaster—I'm finally going to buy one.
Would like to spend $1,500 or less. I don't know a ton about the various models.
A few I've researched:
Fender American Performer Telecaster
American Professional II Telecaster
Vintera '50s Telecaster
Pickups
I know I don't want humbuckers—I want that authentic Tele sound. What I'm not sure about are the silent pickups I've read about. Any downside?
Buying on Reverb
I've never bought a guitar on Reverb. Shipping guitars makes me nervous. If anyone has an opinion here, please share.
Thanks for any advice!
Gonna drop a playlist of political / election day songs. Americana-alt country ish.
Gimme your recs if you wanna add to it. Got a decent start.🇺🇸
