@sone_do_mujhe Arun Mishra on being asked to recuse in Indore development case did just that. Kept on saying my conscience is clear. Ended up writing a whole judgment on recusal which was cited as a precedence by SG in Kejriwal case. Was also successfully distinguished in rejoinder submission.

Cant imagine the difficulty of the judge to give otherwise finding. How will a judge say "I m fair", "I m not biased"..
Litigant may be all unreasonable, but how far a judge can say that I will not recuse at all..

Drafting SLPs always fascinates me. Documents handed over carries years of strategy, handwritten annotations, cross-examination notes, marked briefs prepared by counsel who conducted the trial in a distant court. It’s like getting a map of another lawyer’s brain.

There are two possible outcomes of this… If she gets a relief, then she will walk out of court as a great lawyer, and if she fails to get a relief, then she will walk out as a great politician. I see no downside to this. Badass move.

Fundamentally flawed arguments on interpretation of Article 20. Dont even need to cite a judgement on this because the words of the article are very much clear.. but here is a 5 page SC judgement dealing with the issue in a POCSO case.

The Solicitor General's argument on Article 20(1) in Sengar's case is dangerously wrong. He hasn't even read the provision!
