Gojo's infinity is the real-world application of Zeno’s paradox (Achilles and the tortoise): Achilles can never catch the tortoise because he must first cover half the distance, then half of the remaining half, then half again… forever. No matter how fast he runs, he never actually reaches it. In mathematical terms, it’s like a convergent series: the space between Gojo and the threat is repeatedly halved (or subdivided) infinitely, so the object slows exponentially and never quite arrives. The series never actually reaches zero, it just approaches it forever. So Gojo's infinity may actually be the only thing that could stop Space Racer's infinity ray beam.
