I never thought I would see the day that mosques were openly attacked in the UK. For too long, British politicians and sections of the media have adopted the language of extremists, with devastating consequences. We need to confront and take on the far-right, not appease them.

The NHS spends £100 million a year on translation/interpretation costs. If you're receiving treatment in a British hospital, expecting the English language is not unreasonable. When British taxpayers can't access treatment in a timely fashion, why is this vast cost tolerated?
