@LaksariLab This is unacceptable given that the NSF program directors should read and approve the reviews during the review panel. I would reach to the program director with this concern. They have much more power than the NIH POs in making final decisions!

I received reviews on one of my NSF proposals. Under Intellectual Merits, one of weaknesses mentioned is using the term “Research Aims” instead of “Research Objectives”. Why is this still a thing? How does that help improve the merits? Anyone else have similar experiences?
