Tomorrow’s the LAST DAY for Summer Checkout!!! 1st-4th grade students have the opportunity to check out up to 10 books🤩! Today 300 books were checked out, and that’s 300 less that our library has to pack🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳! #LetsGetIt📚📚📚📚

Today’s 4th grade library leader breakfast was lowkey a movie & it went off with zero misses😎! I’m literally obsessed with my 4th graders—they’re the main characters and their work ethic is unmatched! They really have that natural rizz and leader energy🙌🏼💛💙! #ProudLibrarian🫶🏼

Our FIRST class to be cleared from owing library books was Sra. Hernandez’s 5th grade class🙌🏼! LETS help our students in finding & returning their library books, so their class can earn a sweet treat after lunch 💛💙🫶🏼📚🙌🏼

THIS LIBRARIAN IS OVERJOYED to receive her 600 boxes! Why? Because we’re officially on track for packing in May🥳! We will be constructing these boxes next week & having Summer Checkout on Thursday & Friday for 1st-4th grade. 15 days to get this done, challenge accepted😎!

Today, 5th grade turned in 273 library books! We only have 63 students that need to turn in their library books! 5th grade is my top priority because they begin a new chapter next school year🥹💛💙! LETS CLEAR OUR 5th graders🥳! We’ll be accepting books from now until May 21st!

4th & 5th grade Library Leaders will be receiving their breakfast invites tomorrow🥳 I wish to celebrate their service on April 30th (4th grade) & May 1st (5th grade) 🫶🏼! Please make sure they bring back their RSVP😃! This is a student only event💛💙

Our 3rd-5th grade Texas Bluebonnet Breakfast was truly enjoyed these past 2 days🥳! I mean breakfast tacos because we read at least 5 books and voted 🗳️for our favorite 📖? That’s a sweet deal if you ask this librarian💙💛🌮🙌🏼! #BeyondProudOfOurKiddos 🥲

Today’s Focus Group had the feels of the Breakfast Club, in all the right ways. What other school district collects feedback from their parents, students, teachers, & staff? Alamo Heights can only go up because they are aware that our voices matter! 💙💛#Golden #NowhereLikeAHISD

Tomorrow is our Texas Bluebonnet breakfast for our 3rd grade students. Students who voted for their favorite Texas Bluebonnet book in January🗳️ received an invitation last month🫶🏼. This is a student only event 💛💙🌮! Happy to see my 3rd grade voters tomorrow morning at 7:45🌞!

Today was a “how can I be of help?” Cynthia was a 1 woman cash register employee today- until I could help during 3rd grade lunch duty. Whatever it takes to keep things flowing, right? 💛💙 Thank you for all you do Cynthia🫶🏼. Nobody knows until they’re in it💪🏼.

Our March Library Night was pretty awesome🥹! We had the luck of the Irish with us because we had a good turn out🍀! What would your dream garden have? Mine would have a ton of red roses, pink wild lillies, a spacious pool, and all of my loved ones🫶🏼! Happy St. Patty’s Day🍀🇮🇪!

Our Book Fair has come to an end! CE families & students, thank you for supporting our Spring Book Fair! We surpassed our $20k goal😱 and for that I’m beyond appreciative & grateful🥹! Happy Spring Break everybody💛💙! #LoLogramos

Our Scholastic Book Fair continues this week March 2nd-6th🥳! Parents are welcome to come shop the fair with their child any time from 7:45AM-3:10 Monday-Thursday & during their child’s library class visit🫶🏼🤩!
