Proud moment for us! 🥳🎉 Our very own Derrick Kabuye has been honored by Rotary International as a Rotary People of Action: Champion of Tomorrow — one of only six honorees worldwide. 🌍 Through his Educate a Community Project at Nyakijumba Primary School, Derrick has improved clean water access, supported menstrual hygiene, and changed hundreds of young lives since 2019. @DrIsaacKhan @NIRA_Ug @UNEB_UG Its at 16 years that a minor is expected to approach any NIRA office, and update their data to get a card. However, for the years they have been with their NIN, they've: openned bank accounts, sat UNEB, gained inheritance, proved a legal identity-using a NIN.

This Wednesday at Wits College Namulanda, students stepped forward to save lives in a Blood Donation Drive with our Rotary and Rotaract partners & successfully collected 150 blood units each unit representing hope for patients. Their courage & kindness will save lives. ❤️
