Today, we remember all the lives lost on 9/11. During Marine Week Charlotte, we commemorated 9/11 by climbing 110 stories with Charlotteans, the @charlottefire, and service members.

Hero of the Day Today, we honored Staff Sgt. Thomas Dudley at a wreath laying ceremony at the UNC Charlotte Center City Campus Garden. Dudley paid the ultimate sacrifice while conducting combat operations in Afghanistan, 2011.

There’s a battle on the basketball court at Queens University as the Charlotte Fire Department takes on the Marines, featuring a halftime performance by the Silent Drill Platoon. Catch the Silent Drill Platoon today at 2:30 at the Pre-MAGTF demo at The Dirt Track at Charlotte!
