Statement by the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan The information disseminated by the APA News Agency regarding an alleged investigation by the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan at the Ganja City Executive Authority has not been confirmed by official sources and is based on inaccurate #information. We consider it unacceptable for such which is prohibited by law and damages the reputation of state authorities to be disseminated in the #media. We declare that, in accordance with Article 14.1.11-1 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Media”, the publication (dissemination) of false information must not be permitted. We call on media entities and social media users to act responsibly when sharing information and to rely on official sources. #MEDIA #statement

Statement by the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan In recent days, completely unfounded and false information has been circulating on certain social media platforms, alleging that rockets have been launched from the territory of Azerbaijan toward Gulf countries. Against the backdrop of existing regional tensions, the dissemination of unverified and inaccurate information on social media serves to mislead public opinion and constitutes deliberate disinformation. We strongly condemn such attempts. Such claims are either intentionally provocative or the result of irresponsible and baseless approaches. In modern technological conditions, determining the direction from which rockets or other aerial objects are launched is not difficult. Countries in the region, including the Gulf states, possess advanced radar and surveillance systems that enable the accurate identification of the origin and trajectory of such objects. We emphasize that the Republic of Azerbaijan remains committed to the principles of international law, respect for the sovereignty of states, and the preservation of regional stability. We call on all parties to rely only on verified and credible sources and to refrain from disseminating unconfirmed information. تنتشر في الأيام الأخيرة عبر بعض منصات التواصل الاجتماعي معلومات عارية تماماً عن الصحة ولا تمت للواقع بصلة، تزعم إطلاق صواريخ من أراضي أذربيجان باتجاه بلدان الخليج. وإن تداول معلومات غير دقيقة ومجهولة المصدر عبر شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي في ظل التوترات الراهنة بالمنطقة لا يهدف إلا إلى تكوين آراء وتصورات خاطئة لدى الرأي العام ويحمل طابع التضليل المتعمد فندين بشدة مثل هذه المحاولات. وهذه الادعاءات إما أنها تحمل طابعاً استفزازياً متعمداً وإما أنها ناتجة عن نهج غير مسؤول ومفتقر إلى الأساس وفي ظل الإمكانيات التكنولوجية الحديثة، ليس من الصعب تحديد الاتجاه الذي انطلقت منه الصواريخ أو غيرها من وسائل الطيران. حيث تمتلك بلدان المنطقة وبلدان الخليج أنظمة رادار ومراقبة حديثة، يتم من خلالها تحديد منشأ الأجسام ومسارها بشكل واضح. وإذ نؤكد أن جمهورية أذربيجان ملتزمة دائماً بمبادئ القانون الدولي وسيادة الدول والحفاظ على الاستقرار الإقليمي وندعو جميع الأطراف إلى الاستناد فقط إلى المصادر الموثوقة والمدققة وإلى الامتناع عن تداول المعلومات غير المؤكدة. كما نهيب بالوسائل الإعلامية ومستخدمي شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي إظهار مهنية ومسؤولية عالية عند نشر المعلومات والاعتماد حصراً على المصادر الرسمية والموثوقة وعدم السماح

Azərbaycan Respublikasının Medianın İnkişafı Agentliyinin açıqlaması Son günlər bəzi sosial media platformalarında Azərbaycan ərazisindən Körfəz ölkələri istiqamətində guya raketlərin buraxılması ilə bağlı tamamilə əsassız və həqiqətə uyğun olmayan məlumatlar yayılmaqdadır. Regionda mövcud olan gərginlik fonunda sosial şəbəkələrdə mənbəyi təsdiqlənməmiş, qeyri-dəqiq informasiyaların yayılması ictimai rəydə yanlış təsəvvürlərin formalaşdırılmasına xidmət edir və məqsədli dezinformasiya xarakteri daşıyır. Bu kimi cəhdləri qətiyyətlə pisləyirik. Bu növ iddialar ya qəsdən təxribat xarakteri daşıyır, ya da tamamilə məsuliyyətsiz və əsassız yanaşmanın nəticəsidir. Müasir texnoloji imkanlar şəraitində raket və ya digər uçuş vasitələrinin hansı istiqamətdən buraxıldığını müəyyən etmək çətin deyil. Region və Körfəz ölkələri müasir radar və müşahidə sistemlərinə malikdir və bu sistemlər vasitəsilə obyektlərin mənşəyi və trayektoriyası aydın şəkildə müəyyən olunur. Bildiririk ki, Azərbaycan Respublikası beynəlxalq hüququn prinsiplərinə, dövlətlərin suverenliyinə və regional sabitliyin qorunmasına daim sadiqdir. Bütün tərəfləri yalnız yoxlanılmış və etibarlı mənbələrə istinad etməyə, təsdiqlənməmiş məlumatların yayılmasından çəkinməyə çağırırıq.
