That’s textbook amnesty, rebranded as “dignity.” We didn’t vote for this. We voted for secure borders and mass deportations after Biden’s border invasion and the largest human-trafficking operation in U.S. history. There are compelling reasons why many of us oppose amnesty: we shouldn’t reward lawbreaking with legal status. And we definitely shouldn’t pretend this isn’t amnesty—because that’s exactly what it is.
