The XQC vs. Super dynamic is really interesting, because in S1 of OWL Super was a top winston while XQC was one of the worst, meanwhile Super was a really bad reinhardt while XQC was decent at the character. An inversion of what these players are historically known for.

@Neosky95371699 He would’ve never worked in s2 (even without goats), because he was very clearly at his skill cap as a braindead player with the best mechanics, but he was definitely a great player in S1

@Neosky95371699 Mistakes even being in the conversation really tells me you haven’t watched a game since 2018. He got role swapped to brig/hanzo in stage 4 because tracer otp striker was better at widow than him.

I won’t stand for this Pine revisionism. Pine was a consistent top3 hitscan in S1 who was really really good, that just mental boomed for a single stage. NYXL not fielding him more was their biggest reason for their struggles in stage 4 and playoffs. This isn’t a “5 clips” person

Pine deadass might be more overrated than profit bc this guy had 5 clips and people still think he's the goat when PGE would literally mop the floor with him he is the literal definition of hype moments and aura only

@Neosky95371699 To me, this isn’t cockiness but rather the coaching staff’s continued incompetence, with continued bad roster decisions such consistently subbing in Anamo over Ark throughout the season (even before they won a stage).

@Neosky95371699 How do you define “cocky”. To me, watching every owl s1 game, the problem was bad comps and roster decisions, such as playing libero tracer sbb widow instead of their dedicated widow player on widow in playoffs.
