Today I was doing an author talk at a middle school when a lockdown was called. I asked the girl nearest to me what to do. I explained that I'd never done a lockdown before. She looked at me in disbelief and said, "Did you grow up in America?"

While on mat leave, I've been dropping a video for my Ss each week to see me. Some have my makeup & hair done and others have messy bun, no makeup, & glasses. I want them prepared for whatever version of me might walk through the door based on how baby slept the night before 😂

@JoKnowles There's a dude I follow on Tik Tok who has named one of his neighborhood squirrels Richard, and he feeds him out of hand. He's made a little home for him, and Richard even hangs out inside the the guy's house sometimes. It's precious, and I love it.

I’m working at home and a little red squirrel just climbed up the screen door and stared at me. I got up to shoo it away before the cats noticed or it found a way in. Instead of running away it hopped down and sat there, like we were going to hang out. 😳

I’m proud that I finally finished my course. I’ve wanted to do this since 2014. I had to really niche down to get it done, but it’s done! Now I can move on and decide the next course. I already have two domains ready.
