Is it worth it to save those rewards as well?
As the devs have announced on March 30th, the chances of getting skins from Starr & Chaos Drops will be reduced in the next Update, so if you need other rewards more than skins, it could be worth saving those drops until the Update.

The people who haven't claimed their free Love Boxes from the Shop have just won so hard, because the Box's Pins, Icons and Sprays got changed from the Mecha Box's to the ones that actually fit the theme in the Update on February 25th, and the rewards only expired on the 28th.
