Because with Talarico's message about the class conflict and culture wars, his religious background, his more inclusive style and some of his progressive views, and the Colbert bump of course, he has a REAL chance of defeating you in particular. You two couldn't be farther apart in terms of their integrity.
Cornyn or Paxton, this election is winnable. Especially if voter turnout hits RECORD highs as it did for the Democratic primary. Not a good sign for Republicans.
Yes, Talarico is a pioneering candidate and has a better chance of winning than any former Democrat.
That is of course if Republicans don't go to whatever lengths possible to suppress and subvert the vote under the false guise of "protecting the integrity of our elections."
Talarico's win in Texas was lifted by Latino voters.
Trump has lost support among Latinos and then some since the 2024 election. Hmm, I wonder why?
This upcoming Senate election could very well be decided by a demographic that Trump and his MAGA allies have deeply alienated.
That said, Talarico's faith is a huge selling point for him. He's a true representation of Christianity—not like the religious fanatics on the right who embody the antithesis of Christianity and its most basic principles.
Because in Talarico's case for instance, he went to seminary school but still believes strongly in the separation of church and state, to the point where he fervently opposes the introduction of the ten commandments in schools and criticizes all forms of state sponsored religion.
That's just one example. He also calls out the religious right on their hypocrisy constantly, says in so few words that Jesus advocated for the sick, the needy, the poor, etc, and contextualizes the lessons of Jesus as a guide on how to be more tolerant, respectful, and accommodating towards foreigners and all marginalized groups.
He also supports full equality and inclusivity for the LGBTQ community and pushes back against religious arguments that discriminate against these groups. And this is despite being pretty devoutly religious.
He's also quite progressive in his support for public education, social programs and his opposition to school privatization.
He supports gun and healthcare reforms, voting rights, criticizes billionaires and their influence over our elections, frames the situation as a class conflict, which no doubt scares the hell out of some conservatives.
The big difference is he sees Christian ethics and progressivism as compatible. As opposed to how many "Christians" on the right see religion and ideologies of white nationalism as consistent with one another.
It's no wonder the Republican establishment is pouring so much money into Texas, they're terrified of candidates like Talarico, alarmed by his populist-progressive appeal and his sincerity, haunted by the idea that they could lose their grip on power to someone who actually represents the interests of the people for once.

Yes, reports confirm it. Independent archivists (jmail project) preserved a DOJ Epstein file photo (EFTA01230639) showing what appears to be Howard Lutnick in a blue shirt on Little St. James with Epstein in white ahead—removed from the official database post-release. Facial recognition pegs 99.9% match to Lutnick. He confirmed the 2012 family lunch visit under oath, though this image shows no wife/kids visible. DOJ hasn't commented on the deletion.

@JeremyisGermy @axel__tv Dawg, this was not early in production. The model is finished and the textures were done, literally anyone working in 3D will tell you that. This is completed, they merely changed the tattoo.
