This Independence Day, let’s keep the festivities safe and enjoyable! In Monterey Park, we embrace safe and sane fireworks on July 4th between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. The use or possession of illegal fireworks is prohibited. Any violation may face fines between $2,000 and $5,000.

This Saturday, April 22nd, from 10 am- 12 pm at Barnes Park 350 S McPherrin, we will host a Community Preparedness Clinic. We will go over information on things to ensure you are prepared when a disaster strikes and to make sure you and your family stay safe.

The Monterey Park Firefighters Association is hosting a BBQ this Saturday at noon to raise money for the Monterey Park Community Healing Fund. Come out and support a #mpkstrong community
